Open season on the fetus, and a good word for the pagans
Jewish World Review Feb. 25, 1999/ 8 Adar, 5759
Paul Greenberg
(JWR) --- (http://www.jewishworldreview.com) HERE IN ARKANSAS, the Legislature is in session, and its members are being taught the facts of life, or rather of death. They're learning that in these United States in 1999, any attempt to protect children still in the womb must be oh-so-carefully drawn --- lest it offend Roe v. Wade and all the other artifacts of our culture of death.
Look what happened the other day: A state representative from little Sulphur Springs up in the hills, Jim Hendren, was pushing a bill through the Arkansas House that would recognize the fetus as a person in order to afford the unborn some legal protection. But he had to be sure to specify that the unborn would be protected against only illegal acts -- in order to assure that his bill would be constitutional. For it is now perfectly legal, indeed it is now a constitutionally protected right, to destroy life in the womb.
Some may shy from the word, but abortion has become almost a sacrament of political platforms, speeches and mailings, though the more fastidious euphemize it as a Woman's Right to Choose. No need to go into detail about just what is being chosen. (Death.)
The law may protect the eagle's eggs in their nest, or provide damages if a cow loses its calf in utero, but legislators are told they dare not provide the same protection for homo sapiens.

Secretive Planned Parenthood Memo: How to Stop Overpopulation by Discouraging Birth
Editor’s note: This article has been modified from its original form. In the original Abby included a discussion of some questions relating to Obama’s health care reform law. There was some confusion surrounding this aspect of the article, and, with Abby’s permission, the article was edited to focus simply on the Jaffe Memo.
When I worked at Planned Parenthood, there was something that we were not allowed to talk about. If we didn’t talk about it, then maybe no one else would either. It was called the Jaffe Memo. In 1969, Planned Parenthood was asked by the government to produce some ideas to help with overpopulation. They did just that. What is in the memo as a “solution” to overpopulation is astonishing. And, I’m sorry to say, it looks like the Jaffe Memo is starting to show its face in our culture.
That is the memo, in its original form. Scary, isn’t it? What is scarier is that some of these things are happening…and they have begun to happen under Obama’s reign.
This memo was put out just over 50 years after the first Planned Parenthood clinic was opened. We are now a little over 40 years out from the publication of this memo. Look what has happened in those 90 years. Abortion has been made legal and continued to increase. Planned Parenthood is a non-profit giant in this country (and others)…just last year they grossed $1 billion in revenue. They are pushing for no restrictions on birth control and abortion. And guess who is right alongside them leading the charge? Our Commander in Chief, Barack Obama.
Don’t be naïve. This memo is still Planned Parenthood’s ultimate desire. Abortion and contraceptives on demand: that is their goal. They will do anything to make it happen, including coercion, breaking the law, underhanded deals, and dirty politics. It is time to fight back.
I do not want to live in a communist country. That, of course, would be no problem for Planned Parenthood…they would end up on top in a communist regime. Just think of what could happen in the next 50 years if pro-lifers don’t stand up against this organization! FORCED abortion…it could happen. LIMITS ON CHILDREN…another possibility.
Spread this message to other people who value life. Show people what Planned Parenthood is really about. Don’t be silent! Get the word out. Go pray at a clinic. Reach out to abortion clinic workers. Only vote for candidates that clearly state they will remove funding from Planned Parenthood. This memo is real…and it is really happening in our country. This is not just a fight we have on our hands…it is a war. Let’s put on our armor. Truth still matters.
Planned Parenthood Unmasked
Planned Parenthood is the largest purveyor of abortions in America. Yet this “non-profit” business reaps more than $350 million from federal taxpayers every year, masquerading as a provider of essential “health” services.
The U.S. House on February 19 voted 240 to 185 to bar Planned Parenthood Federation of America and every one of its affiliates – enumerated in the amendment – from receiving tax dollars from the federal government during the balance of this fiscal year.
The decisive vote came in the midst of stunning revelations about Planned Parenthood’s actual practices – some affiliates overbilling taxpayers through such means as unconscionable markups in the cost of contraceptives, intake workers at one facility after another coaching minors in lying about their age to avoid notifying parents (in states whose laws require such notice) or to avoid reporting statutory rape to child protection authorities (required in every state), “clinic counselors” even advising a man posing as a human trafficking pimp in how he could use the Planned Parenthood facility to keep his victims working in the sex trade.
Obama and the Bureaucratization of Health Care
The president's proposals would give unelected officials life-and-death rationing powers.
By Sarah Palin
Writing in the New York Times last month, President Barack Obama asked that Americans "talk with one another, and not over one another" as our health-care debate moves forward.
I couldn't agree more. Let's engage the other side's arguments, and let's allow Americans to decide for themselves whether the Democrats' health-care proposals should become governing law.
Some 45 years ago Ronald Reagan said that "no one in this country should be denied medical care because of a lack of funds." Each of us knows that we have an obligation to care for the old, the young and the sick. We stand strongest when we stand with the weakest among us
'Don't Ask / Don't Tell' Policy in Women's Healthcare Maims a Victim, Kills a Second
This eyewitness report was first posted on the Internet website www.SmallVictoriesUSA.com. The source is Angela Michael, a fearless and often harassed sidewalk counselor / abortion intervener at the notorious Hope [sic] Clinic [sic] in Granite City, Illinois, a town in the St. Louis Metro East area. Mrs. Michael and her husband have led vigils at the late-term abortuary (which was plaintiff in the suit against Illinois’s Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act) for many years. The reader will find a range of emotions in this passionate report, from deep frustration and righteous anger to tender compassion. The reader will find also the reality of slaughterhouse-grade conditions and practices at this hugely profitable, virtually unregulated magnet abortion mill. We reprint Mrs. Michael’s report with the hope of opening minds and reaching hearts with the urgent need to limit and soon, please, Lord, recriminalize abortion in America.
Nancy Pelosi, Population Controller
By Steven W. Mosher
Most of us understand that children are the only future a nation has. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, apparently does not.
In the name of fiscal austerity, she wants us to embark upon a population control program here at home to drive down the birth rate. How else can one understand her desire to add hundreds of millions of dollars of family planning spending to the stimulus package under discussion in the Congress?
Winning with Life = Speaking Clearly
Among the first targets of the incoming administration, most observers expect, is the policy handed down by Pres. Bush in August, 2001, disqualifying from federal funding any experiments sacrificing embryonic human beings.
It was seen at the time as a controversial policy, but it carefully followed an ethical standard and has served both the taxpayers and the legitimate research community well. Without the Bush policy, federally funded bioscientists would still be spinning wheels trying to find a sunbeam in a blizzard, chasing wild geese instead of developing actual therapies and cures through ethical adult stem cell research.
Mental Illness Risk 'rises 30% for Women Who Have Abortions'
By RACHEL ELLIS, UK Daily Mail, 30th November 2008
Women who have an abortion are three times more likely to develop a drug or alcohol addiction and 30 per cent more likely to have mental disorders compared with other women, research has revealed.
The evidence from two studies comes as the number of women having an abortion in England and Wales exceeded 200,000 for the first time last year.
Gov. Palin on "the Culture of Life"
Text of Oct. 11, 2008, remarks by Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, GOP Vice Presidential nominee, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
… In this same spirit, as defenders of the culture of Life, John McCain and I believe in the goodness and potential of every innocent life. I believe the truest measure of any society is how it treats those who are least able to defend and speak for themselves. And who is more vulnerable or more innocent than a child?
When I learned that my son Trig would have special needs, I had to prepare my heart for the challenges to come. At first I was scared, and Todd and I had to ask for strength and understanding. But I can tell you a few things I’ve learned already.
The Palin Phenomenon
The Palin phenomenon – the immediate embrace of Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin by vast numbers of voters, energizing them into the 2008 political campaign – is not hard to grasp if one understands one essential truth about the American voter: People are hungry for authenticity.
In Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, they are seeing “the real deal,” a woman with such an open face, such a guileless demeanor that their usual skepticism is disarmed.
